Welcome to IEEE Projects!
We're hosting projects for you to get some hands-on experience! This semester, we're trying to change up the pace of projects with some new topics. So far, we have projects ranging from backend, frontend web development to computer security.
Projects will take ~5 hours/wk of commitment. If you're interested in applying computer science skills to practical applications, we highly encourage
you to apply using the button on the right!
Please refer below for a detailed list of project descriptions.
Fall 2023 Projects
A web-app based for internal organization. Some possible features include attendance tracking, office reservation and inventory. The first part of the project involves backend web development, working with a Node.js and MongoDB stack and will focus on web systems, backend development, and a bit of DevOps.
This is the second part to IEEE-Time that involves creating a UI for the app. Ideally, this will focus more on the design aspect that involves creating user flows in Figma then designing the frontends in HTML/JS/CSS.
Cybercraft is a project that allows students to create their own CTF game. A CTF in computer security refers to applications where the player attempts to find security vulnerabilities in an application to solve a puzzle.
